Parking up and staying legal in Tenby
Tenby’s old town is largely pedestrianised, and its car parks are busy with limits on larger vehicles. Use a campsite, walk or bus in, and check overnight rules.
In Wales, wild camping is generally not allowed without the landowner’s permission, and overnight stays on roadsides and in car parks are often restricted by signs or local rules. Use campsites, farm stopovers or pubs that welcome vans, and follow the Countryside Code, which applies in England and Wales.
Read the Countryside Code. Please leave places as you found them, be considerate to residents, and see our Community Guidelines and Safety Tips.
